| A 2'' Long Lock |
It’s really endearing when your
kid takes shears to their hair in an attempt to give themselves a stylish new
look. After freaking out of course…
But it’s even more endearing
and hilarious I might add, when your kid decides daddy needs a haircut.
I’m a hairstylist by trade, and
well, I guess I passed down a little inspiration. My dear Backup Brain didn’t find it too funny at
first, but I couldn’t stop laughing. And
I guess that’s the Roldan in me, we tend to find things funny when what we
should be doing is expressing empathy. I
like to think of it as looking on the brighter side of things.
I’m
sorry Hunny, I still love you but I just couldn’t help myself.
Plus,
the good thing is I can fix it! So, you
don’t have to go to work
with a
missing patch on your head.
After, I was done laughing…
ehhmn… I asked my little culprit why he decided that was a good idea? The response was logical, “Daddy’s hair looks
funny, and I wanted to make it look nice”.
So Daddy needs a haircut? “Yes,
he does”.
I agree… it’s been a long 10
weeks since I’ve given my dear hubby a haircut.
I’ve been so caught up and stressed with school work that I haven’t
really had a day where I wasn’t pooped by the end of the day, and when I could
take care of everyone’s lovely locks.
Kids… They really do have a way of sending messages
in the darndest ways. Gotta love em’.
